"Who We Are VoiceThread" Project
Students in 5th grade were asked to create a picture that represented them using Microsoft Paint. These pictures were uploaded to VoiceThread and students recorded their voices to add "life" to their pictures.

Mad Money Group Project
Students learned more about earning, saving and spending money while using PBS Kids' Mad Money. Students worked in groups of three. Each student had a role to perform in the group: Clicker, Earner, Spender. Together the group choose a high ticket item.
Students each completed a Mad Money packet with the data from playing Mad Money with their group. Students used their data to create pie chart/circle graph. Samples of these graphs can be found here.

Students chose a topic related to ecosystems. These topics included:

Students compared meals at 2 fast food restaurants to find out more about
